Introduction to portfolio service providers or web site providers

These providers usually provide a free account and paid accounts. Yearly fees for paid accounts are usually around $50-$60 per year.

Things to check:

  1. Make sure that the file space provided is adequate for your needs and/or can be expanded in the future as your needs change.
  2. Check the terms and conditions.
  3. Always keep a backup of your portfolio in case things go wrong.

Mahara based e-portfolio service providers

These providers use Mahara - if you have a UCPortfolio and are coming to the end of your degree you can export your entire UCPortfolio account and import it straight into one of these services, and then keep building your portfolio into the future.
